Week 5 - Final Thoughts

I've enjoyed undertaking the five week programme. It's been a good introduction to Web 2.0, and given me insights into web applications I never knew existed and probably never would have found by myself. It was taught at a good pace and with clarity; instructors were pleasant in manner, helpful and approachable.

Week 4 - RSS Feeds and Podcasts

I enjoyed learning about RSS Feeds. I would have liked to set up an RSS Feed to my Blog, but alas, ignorance and a lack of time prevailed. Podcasts seemed interesting, but I'm more of a text-based person.

Week 3 - Flickr and You Tube

Flickr and You Tube seem like great on-line resources - from a slow day at the office to undertaking more serious research and presentations.

Turning Forty

I turn forty in two months time. So much to look forward to. Thinning hair and thickening midriff; creaking knees and aching back. But worst of all is, I think, the effect aging has on character. Irascibility, diminishing tolerance and patience, especially in relation to young people, have silently crept up on me like a disease.

Week Two Wikis

I'm afraid I didn't get very far with my exploration of Wikis. Not enough time, curiousity, or computer skills. Also a disadvantage of the software: Only one person being able to access them at a time.

Hello.First two apologies. If you're looking for "The Anorak Zone" website you've come to the wrong place. Sorry about that. Go back and try again. Similarly, if you're searching for pictures of middle aged English people wearing woolly hats and duffle-coats tramping through the English country side you'll be disappointed as well. It's not that kind of rambling. It's the flow of idle, randomn, disconnected thoughts kind of rambling. However I do own an anorak. But it is black.
